I think the biggest problem about your argument is that the Air seems to be marketed more towards the general public rather than corporations. Yes, people may be using it for business but in those cases, chances are that they are using their own personal machines for business. $1800 is quite high compared to other business classed laptops. I doubt that many companies are willing to pay such a large premium for such a limited machine.

Simple, books cost less. For the price of a Kindle I could've gotten around 50 books. And those 50 books can be bought individually which makes it a lot easier on the wallet.

Nov 2nd 2007 3:45PM Personally as cubicle dweller, I think it's rather useless. Arguably it provides some added privacy but provides less desk space and no drawers nor cabinets. I said arguably namely because my cubicle walls are totally opaque as oppose to the semi see through panels of the Eclipse system.
