GM Proving Grounds in Milford, MI I believe? Used to live right there!
Hell, Michigan by any chance? (minus the HTC and Palm logos of course)
Actually, Engadget is owned by AOL. So does AOL have a thing for Apple? It seems to me that any blog that reports on Apple has a high number of stories about them...not because they loooovve Apple so much, but because Apple's PR/Marketing campaigns seem to be impossible to ignore.
Haha, reminds me of Clippy's appearance in the online demo of "Windows RG" (Really Good Edition)....check it out here: http://www.deanliou.com/WinRG/ . I'll be buying it for my next OS! :)
"The trenches of Kalamazoo"? Since when does Kalamazoo have trenches? My GPS devices seem to work fine in Kalamazoo. Or maybe I'm missing a reference to something funny. :)
I would use this display with either the Xbox 360 or Wii. While I would enjoy a PS3, I feel that the Xbox 360 is the best system for the mony at this time (especially with a killer title such as Gears of War). The Wii looks like tons of fun also, but I think it is geared towards younger people. I would enjoy the Xbox 360's online gaming on this pretty 56" toy. :-D
Plus it doesn't even come with the display, game system, or games...seems like you could pick up a used arcade racing game from some Chuck E. Cheese for less than $4,000!
Wow. I would by one if the creator were to sell it - might actually make my X50v more useful than just a fancy post-it note.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
