Wait? An anti-Nintendo post from Vlad the MS employee?
NEVER!

The test is flawed and any 360 owner knows how noisy the damn thing is.....but that won't stop Vlad.
This actually looks like an act of desperation.

oh and delsvr Engadget is Joystiq's sister site so....duh!
Maybe why they haven't run the article is because the 360 has 2 different models (the Hitachi and the Samsung) and no noise tests took that into consideration.

I have owned both. The Samsung is really quiet and my current Hitachi (thanks to crappy MS quality it's my 4th replacement) you can hear in the next room.
It's really loud.
Sometimes I have the Wii and 360 fired up at once and you can't even hear the Wii accessing the drive with my 360 going.
The only real threat is Nintendo's next portable system.
Sorry but I wouldn't believe MS.
They're also the ones boasting their "holiday win" and those numbers were from November (when their competition hadn't even released their consoles until later that month).
Most annoying was every website including this one ran the MS numbers, but never informed their readers that to MS the "holiday" season is November....not December.

Take it with a grain of salt people.
I never really cared about my gamerscore.
A had a friend who was very active after I finished a game and then would go idle again.
After awhile I realized he was watching my gamerscore and every time I passed his score he would play to pass mine.

What's funny is that I never use my 360 anymore except to pass him by a few hundred and then quit again.
I think he's going out of his mind to get some of my achievements (he's not very good at games).
Please God don't let Sega make another NiGHTS game!
Everything out of Sega is crap now and I would hate to see one of my all time favorites trashed.

btw wiik get an S-Video cable for your Saturn instead.
I have one and the game looks great on my upscaling TV.
I know Jandaman still sells them.
Well I've had it with Engadget. Now deleting link from toolbar......goodbye.
Is there plans to integrate the D-pad? This would be great for scrolling or other features.
Thanks.
I remember how sore my hands would get with the Dreamcast controller.
The Wii has been a relief for me. No holding my hands together. It's nice to just relax them in whatever position I want.

As for breaks....maybe every hour I'll head to the bathroom. My best breaks are at midnight when I go for a junk food run.
You know Optimus Prime one day that bubble you're living in is going to pop.

I can tell you've never played the Wii.

Happy trolling freak.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
