I couldn't live without quicksilver on tiger. If it was closed for some reason I just kept helplessly pressing control+space. It's also the first thing I notice that is missing on other peoples macs.

But now that I have leopard I am experimenting with using spotlight for all my application launching and it works pretty well. The only thing I really miss are the customizable hot-keys to invoke google searches and itunes controls.

Does anyone know if leopard has any global keyboard controls for itunes?
This is a match made in heaven just in terms of logos alone.
I'm not a big fan of U2 but Bono is a very admirable person. I think apple deserves credit for giving recognition to a band with an excellent humanitarian track record.
I'm a Med student and occassionally we work in a pateint simulator- a dummy with respirations, pulse etc. The thing is amazingly complex but It was nice to see that the anesthesiologist running the whole thing was using a powermac G5
I thought there was a press event today at the new store. When is it? Do we get some live coverage?
Just watch out- sometimes when you assign album art to an entire album the widget will assign it to every album with a similar name (eg "greatest hits").
Competition is healthy. Hopefully it is the consumer who wins from all this (unless you are a poor sucker who adopts too soon and drops $$ on the wrong format).
][c for me
Dig dug, lemonade stand, balderdash, Logo, oregon trail, paint. I had the color monitor- it was great. One day i came home and it was replaced by a 33 mhz IBM and my brother was playing wolfenstein, and it took me 20 years to come back to apple.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
