Acer introduces Aspire M5800 and M3800 desktops, H235H display {Engadget}

Jun 28th 2009 9:24PM I have to agree. Browsing the interweb with those common 1280x800 resolution is a pain in the butt. I want to see more contents in one screen and don't have to scroll down as much. That's why I go with Lenovo as it is on the the few manufacturers that offer 1440x900 in a 14 in. laptop. Those full 22in+ HD monitors is a must for me. Can't work with in anything lower than 1440x900.

MSI X-Slim X600 specs get detailed in full {Engadget}

Jun 13th 2009 1:49PM I hate the trend manufactures are going with the screen resolution. I'd prefer the resolution to be higher vertically. 768 just doesn't cut it for me. Many app like Word and Firefox have large tool bars and they take over everything. 1280x800 is barely acceptable to me. 4/3 ratio was perfect for some2 like me that work with photoshop, it just a greater screen estate vertically-wise. I know it for cost reduction, but jeeze, I have my HDtv set for that. They should always offer more choices for people. Lucky Lenovo still have those option. Boooo other manufacturers!

May 21st 2009 2:35PM These political loonies in Cali are ruining their competitive society. They are on a verge of bankruptcy and still meddling ways to drive away companies. Sure, every1 would like to save mother earth and all, but they need to stay competitive with other states and for that matters other countries. The only jobs you can find in Cali nowaday is in hollywood, ok that's a bad joke. Companies will just rush to china or brazil or wateva because a bankrupted State is a big risk for business.
