actually sony mylo pwns this. add an 8gb memory stick and its probably still cheaper. and its got skype.

Sharp needs to make a zaurus phone.
so this is just a musicphone with a touchscreen?

no thanks.

i think this will bomb.

and leave it to Apple to make the Sony PS3 look like a good deal.
iriver Clix. 4GB version if you must.
oh yeah and pictures of the clix don't really do justice to its design and interface. it's quite small but the screen is very sharp and bright and readable.
I looove my 2GB Clix. I've tried all the ipods and it frankly kicks them to the curb. the only bad part is the lack of UMS, you can only drag-n-drop via WTP which is teh suck. iRiver needs to break whatever deal they made with Microsoft - now that M$ is doing the Zune - so that the can put UMS support on this just like all their other players, it seems. even Sony supports UMS on their PSP.
is that really Raystorm? if so I want this phone. more shmups on cellphones please.

mind I don't think Raystorm and Raycrisis were that great but they were fun. they both used 3d graphics but I think they were were inferior (in looks and gameplay) sequels to the 2d Rayforce... I think it was called that, for legal reasons the Sega Saturn version was called Layer Section in Japan and Galactic Attack in the US. still one of my favorite games. I'd much rather see pretty 2d than bad 3d-for-the-sake-of-3d especially in a portable.

need more shmups in portables.
"If the switches are it's nipples, then what is one twisting to change the frequency?"

my thoughts exactly.

but he's cute! I want one!
this is funny.
Duracell had a Bunny mascot first, the Energizer Bunny was a spoof, which was a lot more successful than the original and outlasted it.

as for the invention, anything that cuts down on battery useage and recharging time is a good thing.
actually Sega had a console out in Japan before Nintendo's Famicom, the Master System we got was their third version of it, or something like that. Granted, Sega (and others) did copy things that Nintendo innovated - Sega's 3d controller for Saturn copied the N64 controller (and was better.)

wii will pwn.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
