Mar 1st 2009 5:57PM I was just playing with one of these phones yesterday actually. It really is a pretty nice phone overall. The UI on the phone was rather sleek (very iPhone/Storm-esque) though extremely simplified, almost to the point of it feeling too dumbed down. The accelerometer was extremely responsive and the touch controls worked really well too.
I much more prefer the phone out of it's 'qwerty-case' with just the regular battery cover on due to the thickness of it with the keyboard attached. With that said though, the leather casing adds an extra touch of class to it that was a nice change.
But...I'm with Sprint, and it's only gonna be so much longer before I can go pick up a Pre.

Feb 27th 2009 2:11PM To "fix" the world economy, I think it would be a great idea if engadget tossed this little HD camcorder my way. That way me and my buddies would be able to shoot a pilot for a TV show and sell it FX like "It's Always Sunny" that will be so popular that the world will be fixed in an instant.
