The robot may be able to blog but remember...there are no boring blogs, only boring bloggers.

Then there are boring blogging robots...which I humbly dare anyone to say 5 times fast...

Here's some information regarding the subwoofer in it's 2.1 configuration package - no details on price, but it does have details on size and also what I'm assuming is a German release date.

Cheers
That would be cool however solar power panels that are high quality enough to keep the phone going probably would double the price...at least that's what I've seen with most other electronics with them that actually work enough to be useful. That and I'm not sure how rugged it would be with solar panels. Anyone ever seen a case for a cellphone that adds solar panels as a secondary battery source? That would be cool.
Shwag is a good word...this contest goes along with my need for impossible amounts of gadgets.
It only gives you the option for Windows XP and Vista both 32 and 64 bit editions for driver options.
Why does everyone care about the lack of hard drive choices? You can put another hard drive in the machine for $100 that's huge and fast.

Does this really need killer graphics power? Looks like a student or sales/executive business laptop to me with pricey looks but sometimes in business you need the looks if you're selling high end software or doing presentations to major companies. You have to look like your company is successful and cares about looking good just like a nice suit.

Everything else about it seems great to me...I haven't plugged in a laptop to an ethernet jack in years unless you're in a cheap hotel or in a small town/city. Even then there's always usually cafes or starbucks or cellular internet cards.

I dunno seems expensive but I'm sure it'll find a market.
Quite frankly as long as it plays an excellent version of Tetris well, I'll buy it. Give me some card games and some emulated old school ports and that's all the entertainment my phone needs to give me. Anyone else remember when you logged countless hours playing Snake on your Nokia?

It doesn't need to play PSP games, it just needs to play games that can't be played with a touch screen...
Hate to burst your bubble but my "phone" in my pocket requires rebooting just the same as the windows based phones...it's going to happen.
If you think that a $128 dollar phone has a mythical 32,000 mAH battery you're a lunatic. If someone came up with a battery like that it'd cost more than your computer...you know how many people would kill to have a cell phone that never ran out of battery life? That battery would be more than 20 times the capacity of the battery that comes in the iPhone or Nokia N95. Hell my Dell Inspirion 9100 20 pound laptop's battery is 6450 mAH factory...I mean really.

Who wants to order a few thousand of these batteries and fit them in real phones and sell the batteries for $1000 bucks a pop? Devil only wants your soul.

We need a separate section on Engadget for Chinese magic gadget propaganda.
While I'm hardly supporting people to keep pumping out things like this, at least the gold and diamonds will keep their value even if the Shuffle is obsolete...that being said for once I'd like to see one of these jewelers not only mod the outside of it in 'bling' but spend some extra $$$ and mod the inside as well...I mean if it's being auctioned for around $40,000 dollars, why not spend a grand and throw up a custom shuffle with double the capacity with some super nice ear buds than what's sold by Apple? One of these jeweler guys has to have a computer geek nephew somewhere to help them out...

Hell..maybe I'll do it, anyone have some platinum lying around and want to do a charity auction? Brushed Platinum iPod Shuffle with twice the space and platinum ear buds...might even look nice.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
