Two more for your list: The Majestic and Bulletproof Monk.
I saw (and reviewed) a 15 minute feature on this show on the MGM Studio Walk in Vegas last month. It actually looks pretty killer, folks. Shades of Twin Peaks with plenty of action. Too bad they scrapped the cast though. Bill Pullman's performance as the shifty uncle looked Emmy-worthy.
No need for a pity party for Minnie. She's in the new series The Riches with Eddie Izzard.

Trailer has been up on Apple.com for about two weeks.

Enjoy.

I'm still carrying my 40GB iPod Photo (remember that short-lived gem?) from almost two years ago. The size of the thing suits me fine, given that it holds forty gigs, which I've never quite filled with music and photos. And so far, I don't feel the need for video. Maybe when the sideways screen video iPod comes out I'll trade in for the latest and greatest. Meanwhile I'll just count the ones that I sidestep as they flit by into obscurity (mini, shuffle... pack your bags, nano...)

I for one welcome this new stone age.
My SD400's screen cracked under (mildly) cold weather conditions, on its second day out of the box. A common problem, according to internet griping, and I managed to get a full refund. Is there any indication Canon's done anything to beef up the screens in the past couple iterations of this line?

"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
