Why is the Flat-TV placed so high up? I guess I'm going to have to use my Iphone and call up a masseuse for my crimped neck.

I have an older ambilight PhilipsTV and I love! It lights out from the left and right side, and since its actually 3 RGB tubes inside, you can change to whatever colour spectrum or brightness your tastes desire. It can also be tuned to be dynamic or static. It's not really that crazy-distracting bright in person. I think these cameras have a hard time picking up the lighting subtleties, and blowing the shit out.. Like Matt mentioned, I like mine more subdued. The setup gives my condo a nice ambiance, chicks love it, and totally gets me laid. Try it before you fry it..
Finally, a Fuji FD with a wide-angle lens, dual stabilizers and high iso! I hope this camera will be as good as fuji's flagship F31fd camera. I've tried many consumer cameras, and nothing beats a fuji in low-light situations. 12800 is ridiculous, but still, I'll be really impressed with ISO @1600 without noticeable noise. Crossing fingers....

Possibly an older link...but here is a size/spec comparison....
I can't wait for this phone. C u later iphone.

For all you gas-guzzling, parking nuisance SUV drivers out there...you can drive alongside my 50mpg Prius any day with this design. Respect out to all the "SUV-loving environmentalists out there!" I know you do exist.
I wonder if the GUI and browser speed can improved with updated firmware? Or perhaps this is a hardware limitation.
I have a Philips 42" LCD with ambilight, and it's not a gimmick. Yes, it looks cool, esp. when you throw in an aquarium dvd and the ambilight reacts like caustics...but its also good on the eyes and causes less eye strain when viewing in a darkened room. I know, cause I work in computer graphics, and constantly stare at the monitor 24/7, but once I put soft backlighting behind the monitor, I get no eye-strain...same concept here. Try it, its fun.
I'm first!
Does anyone know if this particular model has GPS attachment? If it does, i think that would be awesome. If it doesnt, maybe the unit's bluetooth can piggy back off your GPS-equiped cell phones...just a thought.
allrightty, you guys search in the mountains, and i'll search on the streets for bin-laden. For friggin-sake, stay low and try to blend in. Page me if you find anything ok?... i'll have my beeper on silent-mode.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
