I picked up this phone in India for about $25 only. This phone does its primary task, making calls, commendably. The battery life was really a surprise as I didn't expect it to last longer than one day. However, it goes for over three days on a single charge and that too in poor signal conditions as I travel a in Mumbai. The only jarring aspect is tha alarm clock. It sounds like a Siberian crane on heat. Really, its very very effective in making you wake up in the morning.

Not just Engadget, every single techblog is comprised of Apple fanboyd. So what do you expect?

Btw, I find Extremetech, PCWorld and PCMag to be more realistic in their articles. Most of their people have real jobs and not 20-yr old Apple loving yuppies. They appreciate good work by Microsoft and also criticize when needed. Lets face it, Mac OS X is good enough if all your computing is limited to browsing, blogging and using digital media. For everything else its useless.
Look at these so called tech journalists fawning over Apple! Steve Jobs and his gang are one big bunch arrogant yuppies. The recent comments by an Apple VP on Cisco's trademark on the "iPhone" name is really disgusting.
Actually DMK is doling out 14-inch Chinese imports. These days however, almost every (urban) household has atleast a 21-incher. Well, the free TV will prolly go in the bathroom.

Congrats pal!

I got a Citizen Ecodrive watch and a Cd of "Aja".
finally, moto has regained it's senses. no more of that stupid 100 songs limit and the plain vanilla interface! GO MOTO!
I really liked James Kim's unbaised approach towards journalism. While everyone else (including Engadget) were having a swell time poking fun at the Zune, only he (and Extremetech) did a neutral assessment of the beleaguered player.
C'mon fellas, no need to be so sardonic. Atleast, you'll pay once for a version that'll be good for five years instead of shelling out $600+ for Apple's OS over that same time-frame. And ofcourse, if you're Linuxphiles then spend that money on a PS3/Wii/.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
