@Munk

This is not a crappy car.

All Goona's downranking proves is there's alot of anti-Apple fanatics on this board. They tend to be highly concentrated among geek crowds.

And while they go on and on with their Apple hatred, Apple will just keep raking in quarter after quarter of record revenue and profits, off the industry-leading game-changing iPhone/AppStore ecosystem, while Google Android plays catch-up.

The Nexus One is a laudable effort, but according to the preliminary reviews out so far (Engadget, Gizmodo, Fox, Mossberg, etc), it still is no iPhone.

But I'm all for more competition, so bring it! I can't wait to see what the next iPhone will look like, in June.
@tk24

I think it's hilarious how anything whatsoever that portrays the iPhone in a positive light compared to it's competitors, *MUST* be evidence of bias.

Why can't you accept that the iPhone just might be better than any Android phone right now? Just maybe? This could change in the future (unlikely), but for now, that's just how it is. No conspiracy or bias necessary.
I like what I see in WebOS. It's the 2nd best mobile OS out there, though it still can't dethrone the king.

However, Palm is going to need some new hardware and new carriers *QUICK* if they plan on being around for New Years 2011. A company can't survive on promises.
*shrug*

I applaud Google's efforts on Android; it kills Windows Mobile, Symbian, and everything else out there, except for WebOS and iPhone.

But it still hasn't managed to dethrone The King.

And only on T-Mobile? You gotta be kidding..

I can't wait to see what Apple and Palm have in store for 2010.
Add:
- WiFi
- Front-facing camera
- Release it on Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and TMobile.
- Faster processor and more RAM to make it snappier

Remove:
- The physical keyboard; make the front touchscreen-only

(Of course, all of these will increase the cost of the device, but what the iPhone success tells us is that people are willing to pay for something good)
Hilarious. Saying "Christmas" or "Jesus" is offensive, but yet people fight for the right to use swear words?
Sony is already as good as dead. Between Apple, Google, and Nintendo they don't stand a chance.

iPod Touch and iPhone >> PHP
iPod >> Walkman
Nintendo DS and Wii >> PSP and PS3
Looks nice, has good specs...but the most important thing is the software experience. In this area, no one has beat the iPhone yet.
Who is this marketed towards? How many people have a 60" TV installed in their coffee table?

Better luck next time
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
