Actually, there's a solid chance he didn't draw them himself. A long time ago, when Fox picked up the Simpsons, Groening struck a deal which basically said any licensed Simpsons images would carry his signature, regardless of who produced them.
Sadly, no. Not until next week.
And I wish it would come to the US. I rarely talk, but text a lot, so I'm stuck paying for texts on top of the required $30 minutes plan, even though I never come anywhere near using them all. If they treated minutes and texts like two sides of the same coin it would be better for all. Well, maybe not them, since they'd get less money from nerds like me.
oooh, spiffy. Gimme, gimme, gimme
Sad it has to be two of them. My boyfriend doesn't have a cell phone but I was thinking about getting him a Peek for Christmas, so we could keep in touch out and about without him having to use a phone (because he hates them so much). I can't think of anybody else who would want one, though. Nuts.
Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. If it's within 30 days, can we exchange a 16gb for a new 32gb? I just got mine at the beginning of the month . . .
Isn't Zanzibar Buckbuck McFate from "Too Many Daves?" That was my most favoritest story as a kid, and my family still references it frequently. We all used to have it memorized, and the last few lines are "Or Zanzibar Buckbuck McFate / But she didn't do it / and now it's too late."
I have a Get Fuzzy cartoon mourning Mr. Rogers on my office wall. I can't find an image of it, but it shows Rob (the human) take off his sport coat, put on a cardigan and say "Speedy delivery, Fred." Satchel (the dog) looks pensive and says "there goes the neighborhood." I still find it really, really touching.
The death of Phil Hartman still affects me, even now that it's 10 years later. I was more sad about losing him than any other public person, because it affected my life more directly. I watch older episodes of the Simpsons and find myself really mourning the loss of his characters, and of his voice. Then I watch Futurama and get sad about what could have been. It seems silly to care about losing someone I never knew, but I think the suddenness and total senselessness of his death have a lot to do with why I care.
Actually, they made a point of noting that she's not "plus-sized," she's "full-figured" on the show's finale. She's not technically plus-sized, since she's a size 10 (plus size is at least 14, usually 16+). There are and have been genuinely plus-sized models, I'm pretty sure the world's first plus-sized supermodel, Emme, was a 16 in her heyday.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
