Shock-proof jacket ensures a tasering to the face {Engadget}

Nov 2nd 2007 2:09PM I am tired of hearing this. Police always give a verbal warning to get down on the ground. You run...they taser you...you resist arrest at all in any mannor (by trying to get up without them holding you or cuffing you...running...fighting...etc) you gonna be tasered. Would you rather it be...verbal warning...you try and run and they shoot you in the leg? Tasers are no more dangerous then a good VanDaGraph generator. The student event where this came from was over-exaggerated and he was trying to make a scene. He deserved what he got. Now...in group situations like protests these vests would be great because police will taser anyone running without warning which is normal and standard procedure. Good for protection in protests and demonstrations but bad in a one-on-one situation.

Wii problems and solutions {Joystiq Nintendo}

Dec 1st 2006 4:03AM My wii works great. With people having trouble with wrist straps breaking here is a hint...don't let go of the controler on purpose...you aren't suppsosed to and make sure you loop both cords through like the instructions say...not tying it...doesn't work the same...with the slip pull style it has 2 strings/cords keeping it attached for strength. For wireless use channel 1 or 11 and instead of encryption use mac filtering. Other then that it works great and the weather channel should be up and running soon.
