As much as i love the idea of ad-free websites etc, i appreciate that the guys have to create a revenue stream somehow - and i much prefer this to paying a subscription fee.

It's not like we're talking ads that float around over the text, and we're not talking about popups.It's an ad in the corner without sound. If you're not interested, then just leave it.

It really isn't that much of an issue.

the pay what it's worth system works as a buisness model for radiohead. The reason being that radiohead, unlike kiss, aren't total shite.

"quick and humane"!? what about, i don't know...using one of the ones where mouse walks in, then you can release him outside?

even better, use this text system to tell you there's a mouse inside it, then you can go let it out. humane, and useful.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
