Neither. Unlocked first gen 4GB version is still good enough. When 3G was released, i refused to upgrade. Same goes for 3GS. Maybe next time.
I never understood this "you have to shit on the competitor to be cool" strategy. Those Mac commercials are just plain stupid. These new Windows commercials trying to make some sense, but in the end most of them are also...stupid.

Why can't they just spend all that money on R&D instead?

I have decent windows desktop PC for gaming, video etc. I have paid approx. 1/4 of the mac pro price for it.
I also have 13 inch unibody macbook, which i also like a lot. Therefore, i have something from both sides.

Windows and Apple, i own both products, but i was never interested in your stupid commercials. You hear that?!

Enough of this scheise. High quality, properly adjusted 5.1 system is more than enough in HT environment.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
