Umm, yeah, the character's name is ArtyoM, not ArtyoRN. Other than that, correct.
Oh boy, Israeli users will be thrilled!
Oh my, Jack Thompson is going to have a field day with this.
Well, I do guess 'Space Oddity' wont be there, but Bowie also has 'Life on Mars'. :)
@Petey
Oh c'mon, that would never happen. A journalist who receives an invite to E3 probably won't consider it a great honor, but a perfectly normal invite - such as the ones to press conferences. I really, really doubt there will be self-censoring due to gratitude feelings, because everybody knows that snubbing a journalist because of a negative article constitutes bad PR and usually doesn't last for lengthy periods of time.
And yet, no one cries about the Israeli pricing of PS3, which is around 820 euro - tad higher than in other places.
So I wonder, if half as big = smaller, then half as thin = thicker?
Oooh, shiny, mewants.
Well, first of all, it's not military development per-se. Peres is a HUGE nanotecnology geek, he's been raving about it for years without, I guess, understanding what it actually is. So now some scientists get funding for research, which obviously has military applications but is not really an army project.

And as for the whole political debate, is it really the place for it? Sure, people can fill pages upon pages debating whether we're the most bloodthirsty nation in the world, but it's Engadget and not a political blog, so maybe you guys (and gals?) should spice the politics with gadgetry talk. Like, for example "Israelis are evil. I bet their Tavor rifle looks like something from starcraft because they want to blame Blizzard on the war with the Palestinians" or "Israel is a peaceful nation. Even the Tavor rifle looks like something from starcraft because they'd rather play computer games than fight".
Or, you know, have political discussions elsewhere. That would be better, methinks.

Ah, and if the question of my neutrality arises, I'm not neutral. Far from that, am a staff sergeant in the IDF (Israeli Defence Force)/ZOA (Zionist Occupation Army), depends on your political views.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
