I can't wait until we see this on the iPod's with those chrome backsides. So we can all say Apple invented it.
It is bad, because they charge $129.99 for an older model.

The Ainol V6000HDA costs $78.90. And that's the 16GB version.

You can get the newer V8000 models with a larger screen, more memory and HDMI output for less than what ViewSonic wants for their device.

First of all, China and Japan are totally different. It's like comparing the USA to Brazil, yeah they're both in America.

ketyung: The Japanese copying and enhancing? What the hell are you talking about?

Japan is one of the most (if not the most) innovating country on earth considering technology.

Sony, Nikon, Nintendo, Canon... Yeah, those companies are really copying products from other countries.

Check out their humanoid robots and all.

It can't make Apple fanboys shut their dumb faces.
Wow, they discovered AutoStitch
The hardware has already been available for months. It's a 7" internet tablet for less than $200: http://allpmp.com/goods.php?u=4492&id=624

I personally have the SmartQ 5, awesome stuff. Basically the same, but a 4.3" screen (same resolution) and about $50 cheaper. Got that one from http://www.allpmp.com/goods-585-SmartQ+5+MID+Official+English+Version.html

BTW, Lighthouse SQ7? It's called the Smart Devices SmartQ 7. Oh wait, I already see. Rebranded + crappy software = $60 price increase

$20?! Can't wait until the first Chinese clones appear for $3 incl shipping on DealExtreme
Hmmm, after looking a bit better at both devices, how is this a knock-off of the N810?

The differences:

- The N810 has a full QWERTY keyboard
- The Inka 500 has a X86 processor, allowing it to run XP without a slow emulator
- The Inka 500 has 16GB SSD vs 2GB Flash of the N810
- The Inka 500 has a 4 way button on the front of the device
- The Inka 500 has 2 speakers on the front of the device
- The Inka 500 has 3 LED indicators on the top left
- The Inka 500 has two full-size USB ports vs 1 USB OTG port on the N810
- The Inka 500 has two mouse buttons on the left
- The N810 has an ambient light sensor
- The N810 has GPS
- The N810 has a 4.13" screen vs a 5" screen on the Inka 500

Besides that, the designs are totally different. Even the Samsung Mondi looks more like the N810.
The N810 seems to be overpriced compared to devices like the SmartQ (double the price for a keyboard and GPS), while the Inka 500 with it's X86 processor seems to have a good price voor what it's offering (full XP compatibility).

This is probably the worst KIRF article on Engadget.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
