My iPod Touch feels much snappier, due to the improved 3G speeds! ;)
This is Japan, you can't expect people not to wear suits.

While supposedly everyone in a suit is a salaryman, you just need to enter any coffee shop mid afternoon to see dozens of idle people in suits like this.

He probably was just returning from a job recruiting event, or just dressed like that because that's (one of) the standard way(s) for Japanese to dress.
The Matsushita brand is used mostly in Japan. Even if a product is sold as Panasonic or National, Japanese still think about them in terms of "Matsushita products". I've heard that they kept using the brand in Japan for so long because of the power of the company founders which still had a lot of influence on management of the company. With such influence diminished, they are free to get rid of the "non global" brand.

Did they remove the Japanese text-to-speech feature that used to be listed in the Universal Access pages at apple.com (it can be seen in the wayback archive), but is no longer in the 300+ features page?
Tanoshikatta.
I'm going to the Tokyo meeting.

"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
