Chinese is a term affectionately used for people born and bred in
China. You don't call someone from Taiwan, Hong Kong or Singapore a
Chinese. It might come across as offensive or derogatory.

Anyway, the company in the spotlight is from Hong Kong not China.

@ Lobsang. How about FREE IRAQ & AFGHANISTAN for starters?
@ Flashpoint. Agent orange in Vietnam seems much worst than the pollution. Point is America aren't angels either.

Quit the politics shit.
Infineon M3064???? Arghhh.... I used to work on that device!
As an ex-Infineon employee, we knew about this eons ago.
I've always thought the Pommies were the whinging ones. You Yanks take icing on the cake! Unbelievable!
Hold your horses on this one guys. The 3G chipset for the iphone has already started production. You are probably looking at a 3G variant of the iphone in 6 months time?
I played with one 2 months back. Not bad looking and feels hefty in my hands.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
