I'm glad that I waited!
It is, those people sell it as the "fire helmet cam" with a cheap little bracket. I have one, and have gotten some OK footage with it. The lens on it is very narrow, and you don't get a whole lot in your view.
Step 1: Switch out F keys
Step 2: Claim it is a rare manufacturing error, post on eBay
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!
Yeah, and I believe woz should be in a t-shirt full of holes and pizza stains. I believe he hates button down dress shirts, especially ties.
And shouldn't woz be in a t-shirt with holes? I thought he hated button down / dress shirts.
The reason I never even really considered buying one is because they don't really seem to vacuum, but instead they just fling the dirt into the machine instead of sucking the junk out of the carpet with rollers and such.
While you are right that the visual effects with Compiz/Beryl may look better than those of Mac OS X's in a side by side comparison, the effects tend to get in the way and hinder productivity, unlike Expos. Also, KDE or Gnome are not as easy flowing or well designed for a serious workstation. X Windows has a good philosophy behind it, it does not suit well in terms of memory management and performance. Also, it is hard to get any decent graphics cards working under Linux with ease. Linux would be great if it were a community developed operating system, and not a kernel. The whole 1000 distributions that do the same thing is messy. An official Linux Distribution + Others for testing new ideas and such would be nice. The first thing I would want to see is a nice GUI and packaging system for managing drivers. A driver package should include source and binary drivers, and then they can be installed through a nice command line utility or gui.
Actually, 10.1 was a free upgrade from 10.0, since 10.0 was beta, and hardly usable.
Kentucky finished up switching over all of the traffic signals to LED state-wide not too long ago. They are a lot brighter and more visible during the day with the sun shining on them. Kentucky is a lot more socially superior than one might think. http://www.ledsmagazine.com/news/2/1/17 http://www.ledsmagazine.com/news/2/9/21
This thing is a gimmick to get unsavvy investigators to cough up the money for something they don't need. It's like a jump drive with U3 that copies things over once it is plugged in. Whoop de doo. Seems like it would be easier to just go to the suspect, demand the password, and if he refuses, charge him with obstruction of justice. Problem solved.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
