My i7 isn't shipping yet... I guess that could be because I upgraded to 8 GB of RAM.
Why would they release a cropped sensor camera with the same naming scheme as their full frame line? FAKE
And it still shoots cruddy iPhone quality video... for this price you might as well get a flip video camera and do a DIY sort of handle and get much better quality. I don't see paying 300 bucks for a handle for a camera phone that can't even do HD video! My big ol tripod for my DSLR only cost me 250 with a head... what a ripoff!
Why would a case manufacturer have this information? Why do you think it takes a couple weeks for iPhone/iPod cases to start appearing, they have to redesign the cases and produce them.

Probably just a mockup or they're trying to get the hype going.
They're trying to get rid of them! Most likely because they're going to phase out the 8 gig and add a 32 gig Touch. Last year during the promotion they announced the new Nano in the middle of the promotion, but even after that you could only get the old Nano.
I'd use it for looking like an absolute dork.
Hmm, NO. Why would it run Tiger! Duh! Wired obviously needs to get wired.
Does it have the same glass screen as the iPhone?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
