Not all comics have to be 'funny'. Most political comics are designed to get you to think. This one is no different. Finding entertainment from playing with virtual puppies says a lot about humankind, especially when compared to finding entertainment from killing virtual hookers.
1080p is only hype to get you to buy a MUCH more expensive set. If you feel comfortable with throwing away money, go ahead.

A good 720p set is all you need for sports or video games since it runs at 60 frames per second. A good 1080i set is all you need if you watch movies.
#2 is comparing the camera features & quality based on price, and that seems more than fair.
Cogboy brings up a good point. If the Revolution is 3 times as powerful as a GameCube, and the GameCube is almost as powerful as an Xbox, where does that put the Revolution?

How fast is the GameCube's clock speed? 485 MHZ?

New graphics chip, with more advanced features and shader functions go a long way to speeding up graphics. Power PC chips run faster than the MHz would lead one to believe.

The Revolution is going to smoke the original Xbox. The fact that it only has to run in standard (or enhanced) definition means the games are going to look much better than Xbox games, and THAT, my friends, is a GOOD THING (tm).

Consider that lots of the PS3's power will be 'wasted' by running things in 1080p, they wouldn't be able to do as much on screen because they are pushing resolution instead of polish and effects.
Considering the majority of gamers see little or no reason to upgrade from their current Xbox means this is the right move.

Anyone approaching the Revolution coming from the PS2 will be truly amazed!
Too bad the PS3 controller is being redesigned.

Man, the one idea Sony has had over the years and it comes out looking like a dildorang. Sheesh.
With only a million units available for launch, across the entire globe, of course there won't be enough. It'll even be worse than the 360 launch, for what? A DRMd Blurya player?

No thanks.
This should be the first article...

PS3 can't do HDMI / 1080p.
Sony spends a lot of time, money and effort trying to make the PSP into every device in the world, other than a kick-ass game machine.

Please, please please Sony. Give me a reason to fish my PSP out of the closet. A janky keyboard and cell phone aren't going to do it. I already have a Treo, a device with a kick-ass keyboard, cell phone, web browser, email client, movie player, RSS news reader and more. What I wanted when I got the PSP was a GAME system, something you are determined not to give me. Spend your time courting developers to build compelling new games for the PSP.
"Do you really understand what you are writing or you just like pressing keys on your keyboard"

Even if someone is wrong, you don't need to be rude about it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
