Does anyone have a torrent for the HD file?
So much for 'save the date', eh?
I can't be the only person in the world that likes the idea of a right-biased space bar? Don't get me wrong, I hated the rest of the phone and got a HTC Hero, but I really did like having the space bar a little bit closer to my right thumb. I mean, I use the spacebar a lot more frequently that most other keys when typing and not having to stretch out across a landscape keyboard to reach it was nice.

Seriously though, Nokia are STILL using S60? Good grief...
"Sony's now vying to compete on price"

NEVER in all my life did I think that I'd hear/read that anywhere.
I'll admit that 1GB is pretty lousy given that you're only saving a meagre fiver over the other offers. That said, I've always found Vodafone to have really good, consistent 3G coverage and the customer support has only ever been good to me. Sure, I'll concede the point on the Vodafone store staff but that isn't limited just to them. Have you been in a Carphone Warehouse lately?

It should be worth noting though that the Vodafone deal would appear to be the only one of the four which uses an internal 3G modem rather than a dongle - though for the life of me I can not fathom why.
Hate to tell you this, Bdad, but most phones in the UK are sold on contract and are not purchased individually.
I can't help but notice that the components are traditional parts that you might find in any other computer. If the designed was really looking to push the boat out on the Green thing then why not stick in some very low power internals (Atom) or maybe have all of the PCB Boards printed on something like lasagne pasta?

You laugh it up, but I saw a news story on BBC News' 'Click' programme and I'm sure I read something similar here on Engadget. Unluckily I can't find a link - anyone prepared to back me up and make me look like a non-crazy person?
Craft Knife and PVC is all you require to satisfy your servicing/modding needs. Screw blue LEDs, stuck-on bits of painted pasta are going to be the latest craze when this badboy hits the market.
Don't laptops normally catch fire because of Sony batteries? Not other hardware, right?
Can someone quickly tell me what the difference is between a bit and a Byte?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
