Should the 360 support Folding@Home? {Joystiq Xbox}
Apr 26th 2007 3:29AM Wow #10. I'm not sure if you're aware but the PS3 (with only 100,000 units but probably much higher since I last checked) Was already producing more than half of the total combined output of Folding is doing. That means that 100,000 PS3's are out performing over 2,000,000 CPU's in computers.
Saying that you won't run folding, given those stats, because your xbox's live will be shortened is rediculouse. Even running your 360 for a few extra hours a week would have a huge impact on cancer research. You're not going to half the life of your CPU by any means. I am eager for the 360 version of Folding, if it comes out, because I will never spend $600 on a PS3, though it is a cancer curing machine if nothing else.

Apr 3rd 2007 10:10PM Hey, I did that! I was there! Ian is my teacher! It was a whole bunch of fun. Nobody slept, programmers programed, artists arted, and I pretended to know what I was doing while the rest of my team did an excellent job.
Who won't be getting the iPhone? {Engadget}
Jan 17th 2007 4:32PM I also won't be getting an iPhone because it costs way more than my $100 budget, it doesn't have an interchangeable battery, sports an unacceptable amount of talk time, and I think Apple is an arrogant company for announcing the iPhone without getting permission to use the name (as well as for pricing their products with immense Apple markups and blaming Microsoft for manufacturing iPods with viruses).
