Some people are just way too biased *cough cough StinkyChinkie*. Dude, if you knew anything about the 420 issues and the upscaling process, you would realize that you are a dipsh*t. That issue can "easily" be fixed with a FIRMware update. Not a completely new board. Quit sucking on your XBOX for a second and open your eyes. It is not our fault that you can't get your hands on a PS3. Just wait like everyone else.
Ok... let the post stating that people hate SONY and Cuban because they use BD start pouring in.
I just think if you sit both systems side-by-side, the PS3 looks and feels more "futuristic".
Personally I own a 360, and love it. I also plan to buy a PS3 when one becomes available in my area. IMO, I think the PS3 went for a more "futuristic" feel. They used Blu-ray as the standard, Bluetooth, touch-sensitive buttons, the UI, etc. But I'll just have to wait and see.
@ Bill, you must be a SONY fan.
I also didn't know those stats about the PS2. That's kind of impressive.
XBOX fanboys sure are hardcore. If this would have been a post saying that Nintendo (or Microsoft) are making 1 billion units by Christmas, it would have been like... hmm big deal. BTW, in my town all we have is a Wal-Mart and I have yet to see a PS3 in there except for the display. I'm tired of playing Gears of War over and over again, the chainsaw is getting old... :( o well.
Did you just write 3 comments in a row? Blu-ray has a lot more company supporters than HD-DVD right now *cough cough... Apple*. Give it time, just like every new format when they come out. Give it time.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
