waiting for the 5D successor is ridiculous. Over the time I've had my 30D, i've invested in two L lenses....and I think I could get a lot more value out of this glass with a full frame sensor! Unfortunately, there's no way I'm going to buy drop money on a 3 year old body!
A decent idea...except the pricepoint isn't acceptable. 160gb is also a decent size, assuming shooting on raw, the file sizes on my 30D come out to ~8mb/photo so that would be over 18,000 photos. The battery life on the drive also better be decent.
For some people that say bring laptops...it's not an option if you're out on a multi day trek or out in the wild where lugging a laptop is either impossible and/or inconvenient.
Why has the quality of comments on Engadget taken such a dive in recent weeks?
There used to be a lot of intelligent and often humorous comments, but now I'm noticing it's infested with a bunch of 12 year old retards who have nothing better to do than write "First" or "Second".
It would've been one of my favourite movies....had they not introduced the Freddy Kruger Halloween Slasher twist near the end. Completely ruins the film.
Kelvins and Celsius are a heck of a lot easier to convert than Farenheit to Celsius.
It's about time the US joined the rest of the world - but then again, the US is a country full of people who believe in Noah's Ark and that humans coexisted with dinosaurs.

No day of mine is complete without reading someone ask if today's latest gadget will simulatenously blend and play crysis while doom is running in a background window.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
