Green Vehicles' Triac officially coming in July, for reals this time {Engadget}
May 14th 2008 11:30AM There is one being tested in London already.
Smarts are indeed very safe due to their smart (ha!) design. You might feel a little vulnerable when shotgun, but not when driving yourself. They are awesome for urban environments. Small, agile, dynamic... parking is free in many places, and you never have much trouble finding space for it. They also do not eat much fuel, which is fine, as prices here have reached €1,50. Per litre. All in all they are great "get me there" cars for hopping around.

May 14th 2008 10:13AM No, you're not. This is even more pointless.
Samsung first on the block with 240Hz LCD prototype, 100% better motion, wavier hair {Engadget}
May 14th 2008 10:09AM Don't let Philips get their hands on it, or they will smear all that speedy motion with some filter in order to "improve" it or make it look more "natural". On the other hand, with everything going digital, all those DNR filters etc. will become superfluous in a while. We will be able to have a totally clear view of the digital compression artifacts, no more mushiness when it comes to pixelation. Oh joy!

May 13th 2008 12:14PM Nice demo, but with apparently unlimited missiles... *bah*

PEAK PlasmaBlade electrosurgery scalpel is amazing, disgusting {Engadget}
May 8th 2008 6:33AM Great, now if you need surgery, you're going to inquire beforehand whether they use this or the old methods. Most impressive results.
And you guys are wimps, that video was highly interesting. Noticed those tiny bubbles of fat on the human body? Awesome. Below the hide, you all look like that.
iRex launches new iLiad Book Edition e-book reader {Engadget}
May 7th 2008 1:17PM Hm. Same thing minus WiFi minus €150. It still should have WiFi though. At least the price is moving in the right direction. 8" is a decent screen-size too. It will never be the same as a real book, but it will take tons off the backs of students in schools and universities all over, save oodles for paper/copies... you name it.
