This will be perfect for my Mini-as-HTPC setup, which is currently hooked into my 50" Panasonic Plasma. Sometimes I don't want to turn on the TV just to update a setting or see how my torrents are going, and I also don't feel like VNC'ing into it. This little guy would be the perfect addition to provide a little screen when a big screen isn't needed.
This Tweezer from 2003-02-28 is amazing. The whole show is amazing. Oh, I want those headphones.
Oh, and I suggested the dvi>hdmi adapter + hdmi cable instead of the dvi>hdmi cable because it's much cheaper, and in the future you can re-use the hdmi cable for something else.
I do this and it works perfectly. Monoprice all the way - get a DVI>HDMI adapter and a standard HDMI cable in the length you need and you are good to go. The picture is true 1920x1080 HD and looks great.

You can get surround sound by using a miniToslink>Toslink cable, also from Monoprice, to plug into a surround receiver. I think it's true Dolby Digital. It sounds great. Go for it.
Automator COULD be a very powerful thing, but it's so frustratingly limited that every time I have an idea for a process I want to automate, I end up yelling at my powerbook - why aren't the simplest concepts implemented in this thing? The most common one is, why can't Automator pick the "current" folder, instead of always having to make a new one? Almost every one of my possible Actions have been stymied by this missing concept. It would be very powerful if it wasn't so limited.
I love this software and I used to use it all the time, but I've always thought the price was way too high. For something that I used so often I would have registered it, but not for 80 clams, or bones, or whatever you call them. It is a good app and i always recommend it, but it's too expensive.

yes that is a lebowski quote. it just popped out.
paypal is pretty established and reliable. Gbuy has their work cut out for them. If they can keep it free though, they win.
Nice, but i still wish he'd include the ability to upload to an already-created set. I have to turn to FlickrUploadr when i want to do this.
I've been saying this for years, all i want is an aftermarket head unit (preferable Alpine or Pioneer) with an iPod slot just like this one, that i can throw my pod into easily (preferable still in the case) without dealing with a cable. The Alpine iPod integration is already pretty sweet (and cheap, $29 for the iPod Express cable) - do it.
Galley, i'm assuming this is just an update of the FZ-5, which is in the same size class as the Canon S2 iS. Press pics always make them look almost as big as an SLR - they're actually pretty small in real life.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
