TheKingInYellow, every PM is a US lapdog...it's what they do best.

One thing that is lame (and I say this as a Canadian) is the amount of US bashing that goes on in Canada. Even our Government propaganda channel CBC does it on a regular basis.

After a few vacations in the US I know that they have great people living there and they shouldn't be insulted to instill some sort of "pride" in Canada.
If that's the only pride we have then we are lame.

About this project:
This move is a good one and I hope the money makes it to developers that need it (not backroom dealmakers friends).
I guess I shouldn't be surprised by the amount of MS staff posting here.
Now if they could just train them to spit out something intelligent instead of the same old "Nintendo is kiddy" or "OMG the HD-DVD is bascially free if you count the remote as costing $100 and the movies for another $100" people could actually be fooled.
"OK, guys, the whole "I'm writing on the Wii" joke is really, really stale now"

Don't expect them to stop. With an editor moving onto a job at MS don't expect anything unbiased.

You won't see them use the PS3 to grill burgers or the HD-DVD as a door stop, but they'll do whatever they can to lower the value of the Wii.
I don't think the 360 has anything to do with it and stupid news articles are only going to create ANOTHER tax for everyone in my country to cover the "profits" lost from DVD+R sales (we already have taxes added to cover "loss" from the music indutry on all writable media...that no one I know in the music industry has ever collected).

From what I've seen on other forums people only use Verbatim discs for their 360s. This article lists
CMC Magnetics and Ritek. I buy Ritek discs because they are reliable and they are priced great.
"He and a man named Carl Freer defrauded thousands of investors out of millions of dollars"

Isn't that what the dude from Infinium (aka phantom console) has done on a few occasions?...and he's free.

Anyway reading this made me realized what is wrong with GTA. They need to actually AGE you for your time done in prison. It would be hilarious to see CJ at 60 trying to steal cars. Would make it more realistic as well.
htiawe...yes it can.

It won't handle 1080p, but mine runs 720p or 1080i just fine.
Well at least MS will be happy to know there are still stupid people willing to part with their money.
Bill thanks you for your blind devotion.
My favorite replies:

"I'm not a technical person. I think that's what I've read, though."

Great answer. Do you know anything or did you draw the short straw for this interview?

"not compete against a kid machine"

Uh a "kid machine" that's kicking your arse. Most DS owners I know are older than 25 and a lot of them are female (are market the Pink PSP will not win over). Yeah girls wanna play GTA.
People don't realize that it is Sony who started the whole viral "Nintendo is kiddy" campaign.
Guys like this help us to realize who the true "kiddy" company is with their mindset.
So you believe everything MS tells you?
There is no way that 3% number is true. Every 360 owner I know had problems....well except for one guy. 1 out of 7 isn't good.
I waited over 6 weeks to get my first 360 replaced because of the backlog of faulty consoles being shipped to MS. It took them 2 weeks just to verify that they got my system (I had the delivery date from the courier).

Never trust a corporations own numbers, never trust a woman to tell you her weight either.
MS once tried to convince us their OS didn't require defragging either (it was even a propoganda question on their certification exams).....but we knew better.
Let's face it. Sony sent these kits to all the major game sites early because of all the bad press they've seen so far.

This is how to control journalists....just give them free shit and they'll love you. Kotaku has turned into a Sony-Love site now and a Nintendo hate site (constantly posting negative viewpoints and edited information).

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
