I should have Kindle 1 (no idea how one confirms it), and I ordered on launch day. My shipping date is March 2.
What a horrible boring design. Looks like the Chrysler Sebring to me. Another generic american car no one will want to buy. No wonder these guys are going bankrupt. And what are these reviewers smoking thinking this is a ground breaking design? It's BOXY, boring, and nothing really inspirational about it.
It's the old Thinkpad keyboard, I am typing on one right now. Been out for years.
I already have an in-dash TomTom in my car, the Eclipse one. Works fantastic. Double-din sized, removable, portable. Stereo, satellite radio push their info through the TomTom and work without the TomTom too.
I get so much spam, mine would be flashing like a strobe light.
Early June would be about right to have the new release in time for AT&T's release of the N95. So I bet several changes are at AT&T's request.
Any wind protection improvements? Can I use on a convertible yet like The Boom?
Will I still sound like a fish in the bottom of a barrel?
All XM/Sirius receivers since the 2nd generation on support each other's satellites. This was part of an agreement the FCC brokered in 2000 in order to insure that if one ever took over the other (or a bankruptcy took place) the players would continue working. So once the merger takes place, they can enable any receiver (except the really really old 1st gen units) to receive any satellite they want via a simple software upgrade.
They wear the watch on the OUTSIDE of their spacesuit sleeve, otherwise they can't read it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
