Imports - In Germany they use mercedes and bimmers as Taxis. I think they hold up just fine.

The really cool livery car is the british LTI TXII. 2.4L diesel. They run these for 10-12 years before they are retired. Cabs in London get BEAT on. I don't think a caddy or lincoln could hold a candle to one of these beasts. I see they are starting to use them in SF.
