Thanks to Matt and Trey, I can't think of spelunking without thinking of Lemmiwinks.
There's a word filter for "buffoon"? Wow.

I guess you wouldn't want to get anyone's feelings hurt over seeing such a harsh word on the internet.

I'll test it with a few of my own: Gosh, tally-ho, ankle, gentleman's club.
Definitely up for me. Got in, went to make a club, and they want NZ$9.50 for it. Plus on-going charges.

Hm. :(
I think you have no idea.

An open beta means "We think we got everything but we're not sure. How about you guys try and break stuff and we'll see what happens?"

At least Sony aren't trying to rush it to market without testing properly, like some other companies tend to do with their products *cough*XBox360!*
I think the update is happening now - I can't connect to Home at all...
There are plenty of smart people at Sony. Unfortunately they are sometimes drowned out by the stupid people who exist in every organization.
I have no problems charging DS3s on my laptop, but I usually plug them into the 360 to charge as it has hot ports.
FWIW, miti-touch is in the current MacBooks, full stop. Two-finger scrolling is awesome and extremely hard to train yourself out of once you pick it up (which takes about two seconds).
That's a seriously ugly car. Don't quit your day jobs, Polyphony guys.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
