WinMo 7 on this would be awesome.
@(Unverified) Why not an HD2 with WinMo 7?
I love the new Bing Maps. Much better than Google's.
@Ordeith

I know! You'd think Engadget would have tested their site in at least IE8 before launching the new design. Or would have at least fixed it up by now. I can understand not supporting IE7 and lower, but this is IE8!

They should have more to worry about than these unverified accounts.
@Amun So you'd rather have less competition, and let Google guide your web experience? Wonderful.
@sherylroycer VIA for Virtual Earth is much better.
@barbtx : Er, WinMo is one of the best perks of having the HD2.
@CtrlBurn: Eh, I perused around my friend's BlackBerry Flip (with his permission of course), and I found the user interface was very clunky, the navigation rather difficult, the features to be rather skimpy in comparison to other cheap flip phones, and not all impressive.

Though that may be indicative of just the flip phone, the fact they're trying to sell this is laughable. It seems my friend only bought it because of the well-known BlackBerry brand, but WinMo 6.5 seems a lot more better than what I experienced, when 6.5 isn't even really that special.
How about Motorola getting low-end (or even any good) WinMo phones out?
@TitanT30 : I agree. I hadn't kept track of the Chevy Volt development for a long time, and when I saw how it looked as it was released, I wondered what happened to that much better-looking Volt model. Oh well. Maybe they'll bring it back someday.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
