And what if I listen to underoath or opeth or lamb of god, which does not have much(if any)tune? :)
Thats funny...I live in Spain, and drive well over the speed limit very consistently (175 kph in 120 zone...or 104 mph in a 80 zone) and never had a problem....
1920 by 1200 is more than enough for 1080p...whats the problem?
Nice Model!!!! ;)
Of course, an HD DVD player is/was 250 dollars with a couple free movies at amazon.
Nothing happens, because there are ways to strip the music of it's DRM. :)
I hate lossy downloads. Give lossless AAC or FLAC and I will actually start buying online. Otherwise I get DRM-free higher quality music with CDs.
74 is not that young. Though I agree, it is a shame that he died, even though I am a plasma guy myself ;)
"2x HDMI with only Ver.1.1, no thanks, i'll wait for the Ver.1.3 HDMI with uncompressed HD sound"

...except HDMI 1.1 does do uncompressed pcm. HDDVD players and many blu-ray players decode true hd and output it as uncompressed pcm, so as to be compatible with older receivers. HDMI 1.3 is completely unnecessary for audio.
Pretty good article, except for this:

"So now that we understand that all the signals are already being scaled, using a DVD player that scales actually makes the image get scaled twice, and as we all know, anytime you mess with a digital image, you risk mucking it up."

ALL dvd players "muck the image" unless sending the signal either through 480i hdmi (unlikely, and sometimes still is messed with) or through digital sdi (even more unlikely.)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
