The problem with Sony losing exclusivity of these major games is that its going to lower the overall quality of games. Companies aren't going to spend extra money and time to maximally utilize the PS3 now that the XBOX 360 is involved. They'll focus a low end version with wii waving capabilities and then make a next gen game that will be easy to port between the PS3 and the xbox360. Games such as Motorstorm that are specific to the PS3 are incredible and really blow away anything the 360 had at that point in its evolution. This is just my opinion, but if Motorstorm had to be made for multiplatform, the game makers would have been limited by the 360 and the game would have not been as incredible and would look similar on both systems. Game makers are going multiplatform to make money, not to lose money by maximizing a game to every system. In the end, its good a game goes multiplatform b/c more people get access to those games, but by doing this, the overall quality becomes diluted.

Well, despite popular opinion, i've actually enjoyed my PS3. I watch a lot of blu-ray movies on it (you can rent blu-ray movies from blockbuster.com now) and I don't know why, but i'm totally addicted to the motorstorm demo. Can't wait to get that game tomorrow. There aren't many great games to play at the moment, but that is going to get better over the next few months. I also have a 360 and i'm looking forward to mass effect but little else. Is the PS3 perfect, no, is it as bad as everyone says, absolutely NOT!!
