This is why I always wait for the service pack...
Wait...was I the only one thrilled that laptop drives & desktop drives finally used a common interface? I thought I might finally be rid of those laptop IDE to standard IDE adapters...
So...if my doctor has some Voodoo computers, does that make him a witch doctor?
I'd take one. I could throw all of my DVD's in there along with Blu-Rays. We have kids in the house, discs get scratched. If they're all in the changer and it's out of reach, not a problem.
Only 10,305 comments so far? I'm totally gonna win this.
I'm making a note here, huge success.
The only thing I don't like about Aero snap is that, as far as I can tell, in the RC at least, you can't snap a window to the side of a screen in a multi-monitor setup via mouse. The windows key shortcut does work but that's usually not the first thing I think of when I want to do it. For example, if I have 2 monitors, A and B, and I want to snap one window to the left side of A and one window to the right side of A, the mouse will only let me do it if that's the end of the desktop. I can't snap to the center.

From the keyboard it works, though, and I can have my 2nd monitor dedicated to engadget (or whatever).
About the first thing I thought when I saw the pic was "Hey! That's my Leatherman!"

Love my Wave, except mine rides on my belt unless I'm flying.
Well, these same people thought we wanted Vista.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
