Uhh... while for the user it may be amazing, for Apple, sounds like someone would just purchase everything available from the store, thus costing Apple a LOT more than $179. This assumes the person can buy and keep the tracks after the one year time frame.
It didn't do anything for my "incorrect sim" error that I brought upon myself. If anyone is able to help me out and get my phone working again, I would kiss you.
I haven't seen this one mentioned yet... when a photo is emailed using the mail client, it gets emailed as the filename "photo.jpg". That's very annoying because I have found myself sending multiple photos to people and each pic gets overwritten. I wish that photos were emailed with the filename as the date and time.

Also, when I load into iphoto, it doesn't seem to load the pics in the order I took them.
Does anyone else want to see Steve Jobs at this very moment? It's got to be an amazing tech-tempter-tantrum. How many people will be fired for this snafu?
I just called AT&T. The rates are so new that they had no idea what I was talking about. After the sales rep talked to her supervisor it works like this - I lose my business discount and then I pay $20 on top of my current plan for the phone. For unlimited data, that's not too bad.
Is anyone else beginning to think that the "iPhone hand" is the most famous hand of the decade? I mean, we've all seen his hand holding the iPhone five million times but have never seen the face. Some regular ol' Costanza stuff going on there.
Did 10.4 come out on a Friday - at like 5pm or something like that?
I actually cancelled my TIVO just over a week ago. I realized how little I used it and with the HD box costing more than a child, it's not worth it. I just went back to the Comcast DVR - even though it can't do HD and you can't schedule over the internet, it does what I need it to do.

I tried the mac client homebrew a few weeks ago for Tivo. It was ok, but exporting over a 802.11b connection is less than ideal.
This story is great but the picture is better - look at her nails. Those are cat-fight nails!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
