I think he did mean "procure," because i-mate rebrands devices from other manufacturers. So yes, they do have to buy the phones before they can sell them as their own.

But if it doesn't support WCDMA in the 850/1900 MHz bands (as that Option article indicates), it won't work with Cingular's 3G network here in the US. :-(
That is the ugliest phone I have ever seen in my life.
BD-9 (HD video on a standard DVD) *is* part of the Blu-Ray spec, so technically it is a Blu-Ray disc, if it is actually encoded at 720p or higher.
That's how I expect the eventual iPod phone to look, if they choose a clamshell design.
