OS X for X86 (aka PCs). But Apple give it away for free for 1 year. Get everyone hooked - then make em pay!!
"However, you won't be able to initiate a voice chat"... Why not... this is an important feature to have whilst in a game!!

WHY NOT!!!! ahhhhhhhh
The simple facts are (as most of us in the UK know) that you can pretty much get any phone for free with your contract, so long as the tarrif you take out is of a certain value. You only have to look at the webpages of the main players, o2, Vodafone, T-Mobile, 3, Virgin, Orange, to realise this.

This isn't a "special offer". It is available all the time. The amount of minutes and texts may change slightly depending on the time of year... but you never have to pay for a phone.

End of story.

rather than trying to get apple or o2 to unlock it. do it yourself for free!!
Hi,

I'd love the SanDisk Sansa as I don't run run Windows or use my Mac for gaming.

Thanks,

Dominic.

p.s keep up the good work.
ONYX does this for nothing !! - and changing the background picture is also easy enough - just google it !! - This was on Digg earlier and got slapped down!
I use AIM/.Mac for all my cool friends and those who are not cool I talk to on MSN using Jabber within iChat

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
