I don't like the buttons around the apps and noticed the bottom toolbar has no way of showing you which page you're on in the home screen.

I find the whole thing fishy and look forward to the real update to Sense from HTC.
2004 called, they want their joke back.
You shouldn't base the option to buy this based on what you think the songs are going to sound like (like Tears for Fears or the other songs that sound kind of lame for a dance venue). Once you actually play it - if you are a dance music type of person - you will LOVE IT. So, find a friend to buy it and play theirs before you plop down the money if you feel cautious.
I got it this afternoon and played it for a few hours tonight and honestly felt like going out to a club to dance afterward - on a Tuesday night! The game is really good at making you "feel" like DJ. The same as a non-guitar player "feels" like they are really playing an instrument in Rock Band.
I can't wait to see what the DL content will be like!
Lady Gaga is awesome and I was going to sing Mraz's "I'm Yours" at my karaoke bachelor party to my husband but the DJ didn't have it... :(
Now I can sing it to him in our living room.
I was going to mention the same thing... I call fake
Max Payne - Daddy, come over here!
You can't even Scrobble the Zune... or at least with a proper plugin. Hopefully that will be announced soon!
now if they could only get the Zune to scrobble...
I have a Zune with the Zune Pass and all I can say is that it's quite sweet being able to listen to practically every album I am interested in at home or at work, with or without the Zune hardware. The price is right and I get to keep the songs I want. I know this thread is more about the content of the article, but seriously - if you use a PC and love music the Zune Pass may just be the best thing ever!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
