I find a wooden desk tends to lend a far better surface for my mouse. Having said that, I hate that my mouse wears away its varnish and ultimately ruins the desk.

This is a good idea, only I wish it were a little larger.
Did anyone else notice the 'September 11th' date?

I guess it's just me, but seeing that date still sends chills.
What a fantastic, and frankly inspirational post. Genius, at best.
You guys have no idea how effective these cameras are.

I live in a pub and partake in our local communities 'Pub net'. We use a radio system to alert, and be alerted by CCTV of any individuals that should be either picked up by the police, or watched by CCTV due to drunkenness, violence, etc.

CCTV should only bother those who have something to hide. It's a step towards protection, don't fear it - embrace it.
*sigh* at Engadget.

Shouldn't this entire tripe be at Engadget Mobile anyway?
GMT IS London.

So why the hour difference? ugh.
Slow news day?
I never said it had ZERO features. Sure 3.2mp camera on something that's made for the Borrowers is all fine and dandy but...is that it?
It's a shame, sure, it's thin in size, but it's also thin on looks and features.
Tried it, it worked. Can't help but think it's the placebo effect though. Either way though right? Good find guys!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
