Could use it for the kids. They keep leaving the things on and wasting batteries
I always know when you've posted a new podcast because it stalls out my RSS reader - I just get an spinning ball of death. I'm not sure why you insist on attaching the MP3 file to the feed, but it basically knocks my RSS reader out of action - I literally have to remove the engadget RSS feed and add it back a few days later.
I worked for Bayer 1984-1989. They had a 150 foot diameter "Bayer Cross" on the Rhine River in Leverkusen with old school incandescent lights back then (http://www.logodesignlove.com/bayer-logo-design)

I imagine this is actually more eco than the old sign. In any case they been doing this for a long time and it's really just an upgrade.
Pretty slick. I think our company could take a cue from this. My only concern is that with Apple's penchant for secrecy the next mailing isn't a ipinkslip.
Would be handy on a trip
scw -the post states "The car kit, which includes a secondary GPS receiver and speaker as well as a mount for holding the iPhone,"

Where does it say the speaker is a handsfree phone? Looking at the website it's not clear there either. Agreed that it's a safe assumption (navigate and call safely), but I would prefer to see it in writing. Besides, there's the no multitasking thing with iPhone so I'm a bit paranoid.

I noticed you were insulting someone on engadget for the same reason. What's up with that?

Do any of these cradles double as a handsfree? Seems like one device could do it all.
PEBAK
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
