the battery should last longer than four measly hours for reception especially for the people like me who dont have wifi or even cable for that matter. i listen to howard and howards show alone is more than 4 hours.

4 hours live reception? does that mean that i can only use it portably for no longer than 4 hours thats gonna make it suck if it does. i wanna get one but for longer than 4 hours.

Xm is dieing honestly OnA couldnt even draw more than about 35,000 subs when they were charging a dollar for their show just to show how *laughs* popular they are. Xm does have better technology right now but who cares when they have crap offerings most of their subscribers are people who buy a car and its automatically in the car and Xm just ranks in the numbers from that but later on that person probably doesnt renew Xm. People are very rarely if any going out of their way to get an Xm radio unlike Sirius where people are going out of their way to get them just walk into a freaking best buy and you will see so many Xm radios because they cant sell them. you hit the nail on the head adam, i got sirius for bubba not howard but im a fan of howard now tho. Sirius has so much energy and XM has NOTHING to offer except better music than free FM but oh wait Sirius has that too so go get Sirius you XM fools.

I have sirius and love sirius but the s50 is a waste of money it is not portable at all i want a freaking live portable unit not a save now and listen to old stuff later thing.

ill stick with the scions at that price point or the 07 accent

what this article fails to mention is that Oprah herself is only doing a half hour a week. That is rediculous and there is no way that XM is gonna get a profit from paying her that much. To compare her to Stern is like comparing apples to oranges. If you need any more proof how bad this idea is gonna bomb for Xm look at her faliure of the Oxygen network.
