Your not alone I really don't get why he's on here.

Gartenberg is a shill-for-hire he will for a price hype your product in a quasi journalistic nature or write reports to suite your needs. I think mostly he rearranges the words in press releases.
Dragon Skin has some real problem stopping bullets.

"Army: Dragon Skin armor failed battery of tests"

I made this statement before .. but since Michael is back again.

The author Michael Gartenberg has long history in the "we hype your product for pay" or "we write reports to confirm your results" industry

I take everything this guy says with a large grain of salt because most of his opinions are usually based on who is paying him ..
So Jim I shouldn't believe anything you write and only half the things you show me ?
I just thank god that I have never been in an economic situation that required me to humiliate myself like that for a paycheck ...

I also really wonder what customer demographic enjoys this kind of show ?
Nothing against Apple I own several Apple devices but this article sounds like it was created by the Apple marketing department and reposted by Entelligence. It really offers up nothing new or relevant that your average Engadget reader doesn't already knows ( whether he agrees with it is another story ) .

I got bored just watching that video is this augmented boredom ? just seems useless and gimmicky to me...
Is it just me, but the Cinematube box looks just about like the ViewSonic's VMP70 ? Wish I would would have know about the Cinematube before I bought my WDTV ( although I'm pretty happy with my WDTV ).
One of the things that the Aptera folks talk about because this vehicle (its not a car, but considered a motorcycle under the law ) which was supposed make it cheaper then a car and it doesn't have to meet the same safety requirements. So now your talking about a 25K to 40K for a glorified motorcycle. How easy will this this vehicle roll if it gets hit from the side ? How much will it cost to fix if someone rear ends you ? Aptera says that are trying to meet car like safety standards, but they also say they have not done all the crash tests. EV's are coming but I'll wait for something better. Until then I have my Jetta TDI.
Yes I understand how cars are designed, and while you might survive an accident intact I'll bet that the Aptera is very like to get totaled in an accident where in a regular car you would replace bumpers and fender etc... in this car you will have replace the car. Survivability of the passenger and the car are two different things.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
