Well, so much for "don't be evil"...
I'm curious how many of the reviewers have actually used the product and aren't just bitching about it for the sake of bitching about it.

Josh, nice idea regarding schoolbooks, but it will never happen. Most textbooks aren't produced by the school but by textbook publishers, an they aren't going to do anything to upset their profit margins. Unless, of course, they can make more and spend less.

OK, I'll amend my original statement. It *might* happen, but you will still pay $80+ for a textbook and it will still be obsolete in 2 years.

ChillyWilly, it's very sad. They research it because it's a cheaper, better alternative to what they offer. They buried it so they could continue to overcharge for their inferior product. That's why I don't consider what they did to be "innovation". Actually, it's the exact opposite. It stifles progress.

Your grammar makes angels cry.

While I agree that customer service was terrible (15 cents an hour doesn't buy you much, even in Bangladesh), I've never had any problem at all with the call quality of my Vonage line. Maybe you just have a shitty internet connection.
In any case, this is a real shame. Verizon can't innovate so they litigate.
"How would you change Windows Home Server?"

I would make it free and I would put porn on the disk.

No, I didn't spell "morons" wrong on purpose. It was typo. And an ironic one at that.
"Brand loyalty" is for morans. I want two things. Tech that works and unbiased reviews. The Zune delivers the first thing. When it comes to iPod or Zune posts, Engadget fails to deliver the second.
The only thing the Zune is "inferior" to the iPod on is in style. It' sounds better, it's more rugged, and it has better features than the iPod.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
