I dont think it was porsche's intention to buy out VW. They just wanted more stocks and the law required if you own x amount you must make bid, hence the low offer that would be rejected.

Why bother owning a company outright when you own a good percentage of it anyways?
#14. BINGO! Doesnt matter whos first to market its first to copyright/patent. Is it morally right? Depends on who youre asking.
Lets hope that this one actually works via wifi. I've tried each version of their dsm something and in every case no matter how close you were (right next to it) to the AP it would stutter on video playback.

So lets just hope it actually works on wifi this time around.
Wow I had a vectrex in grade school! I remember the SMS, you could power it on with no card/cartridge and I forget which buttons you would have to press but it would give you a "easter egg" game of a snail that you would have to navigate in a maze.

But I dont understand why altered beast is pictured with it as that wasnt like a "release title" they didnt even have a coin-op version when the SMS was out.

Space harrier was great though.
From the article:

"The Mahoneys have been in contact with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force sponsored by the Utah Attorney General's Office"

explains why he ran to his parents he's from Utah... as those crazy lds.
I currently have a 42" plasma for 3 years now and learned quite a bit from it esp since I use a HTPC with it. The most important feature for me in my search for a new display is that can it do 1:1 1920x1080 on PC input.

There are some 1080p LCD out there for under 2k that dont do 1080p in the PC input.

So if your plans call for a HTPC make sure the display you get can do the resolution you want with a PC.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
