I think there is a huge difference between casual and bad players. WoW is not a hard game. You should differentiate between BADS and CASUALS. Like I mentioned above, our guild only raid 10 men because we are RL friends and we do not want to invite random scrubs just to do 25 men raid.

Guess what, we cleared all 10 men content within the couple weeks of wotlk (with 2 sometimes 3 raiding days) and we also did 3D which is the hardest encounter in game aside from Immortal runs for 25 men.

Oh not to mention half of our guild did 25 man pug (Naxx25, Sarth 25+3D, and Maly 25) sponsored by the top guild in the server for 9-10 weeks now and we fare very well in those runs (further showing that 10-men only guild is not inferior than 25-men only guild).

Having said that, even scrubs in our server did 25 men pugs nowadays it's not even funny.

People who say 10-men raiders do not have Valor Emblems now is either elitist or ignorant. I am currently in 10-men raid guild because we are mostly RL friends and we do not want to invite unknown scrubs just to raid 25 men.

Naxx/Maly/Sarth 25 are all piss poor easy to zerg and I personally have been involved in regular weekly pug held by one of the top guild in the server. Many people who come to this regular 25-men raid are either alts, their core member who cannot make it to the regular raid schedule, but mostly pug from random guilds or 10-men only guild in the server.

I have full 25 men gear (quite a number of best in slot items too) and i have loads of unused Valor Emblems... And I know at least half of my guild run with me as well every week for around 9-10 weeks now.

With 3.1, I felt that my valor badges are a huge waste now that they are not adding new items. If they do not want to do this, just add new type of emblems for the 10 men so we do not have to rely 100% on RNG for our Tier 8 gear...
