Good grief, no MMS! How can they possibly get away with that.
Wikipedia informs me that there is a new standard to use AAC sound compression instead of MPEG2 in DAB but it would mean we'd all need new DAB radios... again. However, at the moment it can go right up to 256kbps I think.
I still don't quite understand why America has gone for the HD Radio standard rather than DAB like the rest of the world. Then they could benefit from the economies of scale. I think I picked up my DAB radio for £20.

Is there a difference in sound quality?
For those of you waiting for Mario Kart 64 to be confirmed in Europe, I'd say it pretty much is. I've just downloaded it and played it. :D
I seem to recall that the bluetooth specification says that you can have 8 devices connected together. 1 master (the Wii) and 7 slaves.

So at the moment we use up to 4 of those with up to 4 Wiimotes. If the Nunchucks are also Bluetooth, then you could only have a maximum of 3 Wiimote/Nunchuck pairs.

You'd also need some way of indicating which Nunchuck was connected where, battery space. Its just not a good idea. I don't think Ninty would do it.
Just been investigating this missing discount business.

In the UK education store the shuffle will cost you £5 less.

But the 2GB Nano will cost you a penny more. WHAAATT!!!!!
Its 10pm GMT to the best of my knowledge.

I did actually get Engadget confused with TUAW, as I often do... sorry folks. But my point stands.
I've been trying to do my research into the MacBook Pros as I'm considering whether to buy one quite recently. A good few people seem to have no problems but I can't seem to get a good idea as to the proportion as these people seem to be quite quiet. (I suppose 'I've bought a good computer. I've had no problems... at all' isn't very interesting news.)

I wonder whether an Apple news site could perhaps carry out a straw poll to see what the actual numbers are ... hint HINT.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
