I'd show it to my friend who just broke his DS playing Elite Beat Agents
I agreed with you until recently. I didn't think there was anything good on the DS... then I bought one (I realize the flawed logic in that). There are some really good games on it. FF3, FF4, TLOZ:Phantom Hourglass, Trauma Center, plus support for the back catelogue of awesome GBA games (such as Metroid Fusion, Metroid Zero Mission, all the SNES Ports that are available on the GBA). It's a great value. I have no problem paying even $40 (CDN) for a game if its gonna last me 10 hours of play time... and so far, both the DS games I have played through (FF3 and TLOZ:Phantom Hourglass) were well over 10 hours.

Just because these games don't exude the graphical prowess that their console bound brethren do, doesn't mean they don't take a lot of work to make, and doesn't mean you should enjoy them any less.
I just didn't expect the signature of a world class video game designer to be so... cute.
This really bothered me. I mean, I know that this is just a joke, but just think about it. *SPOILERS* The templars control everything, right? Just like the patriots. Maybe big boss was one of these assassins, and snake is cloned from them.

I mean, I know it's all a joke... but... the similarities between the two games are there. I only mention one, because it's the only one I thought of off the top of my head.

There will probably be some sort of Altair camo for MGS4 as a bonus, and thats cool with me. I would just be incredibly disappointed if the stories crossed over and this were real... but it's not.

But, Ubisoft makes splinter cell, and that would be interesting if they implemented some sort of reference to it in MGS4, one that is more overt than the one in MGS3.
Maybe they'll release the MGS theme for the PS3 and PS2... or something, and the Mario Theme for the Wii...
Obviously not if they are still selling quite well...
No, I have a powered usb hub hooked into my 360, and it works like a charm. The hub is a D-Link DUB-H4.
@marcandrer:

Ironically, the wii doesn't play audio CD's, or at least mine doesn't
HL2 has not been out for 5 years, so yeah.

I don't really play any mods, though I am looking forward to fortress forever.
"Neighborhood Spaceman" by Peeping Tom... anyone?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
